THE LOFT – it’s YOUR SPACE – The loft, as you may know, is available for reservation for groups of 4 or more. It is free of charge. Being free, it is also open to the public during that reserved time. Reserving the space means that we will post a sign before the reservation time, letting patrons know that a group will soon be descending upon the loft. They can choose to stay or leave. If they stay, they may have to move over to make space but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. We have been asked about us advertising public events In the Loft. We will post on our new calendar at HardBean.net reserved public events, by permission, as long as the event is not for the purpose of selling or promoting any particular company, organization or church or its products, services, business plans, opportunities, or related or similar purposes, even if these events are open to the public by the organizer’s definition. Events with such purposes are welcome to be posted on your own flyer on our Community Bulletin Board Here are a couple of examples of events that fit into the ‘advertise on the Hard Bean site’ category: Bible or book studies that are open to the public can be advertised due to their nature of study and not promoting; business networking events that choose to be public and are for many types of businesses or companies are also in the category to be advertised.
